Fee:   $5/class  x 3times = $15/session
           Pasokon (computer) class $10/class x 6times = $60/session 
           

(Except Jikyojutsu and Handcraft class)
 
You can register for the class at the JA Care Fund Office ( Tel :703-256-5223 or email: carefund@jacarefund.org ) Those who are already taking a class and would like to continue, please re-register.  Please pay the participation fee at the time of registration or by the first class.  If you do not pay the fee by the first class, you will not able to attend the class. Participation fees paid to the Care Fund will not be refunded except for cancellations or changes made on the Care Fund's part. Please contact the office if you have any questions. 

 

Pasokon (Computer) Class A
Instructor: Ms. Yayoi Mori
Time: 1st & 3rd Fridays 12:30-2:30pm
 
Sept 5 and 19  ・ Oct 3 and 17  ・ Nov 7 ・ Dec 5
 
This class is for people who have little or no computer experience.
Topics include: turning on the  computer, letter  input, basic document preparation, emails, and Internet searching. If you have your own laptop computer, please bring it.  
 
Pasokon (Computer) Class B
Instructor:Ms. Yayoi Mori
Time: 2nd & 4th Fridays 12:30-2:30pm

Sept 12 and 26  ・ Oct 10 and 24  ・  Nov 14  ・ Dec 12
 
This class is for people who have some computer experience.  If you have your own laptop computer, please bring it.

Flower Arrangement (Western Style)
Instructor : Ms. Keiko Endo
Time: 2nd or 3rd Wednesday 12:00-2:00pm

 Sept 10 ・ Oct 15 ・  Nov 12 

Please pay the materials fee (flowers, container, and oasis) at the class.
Please bring your own scissors. 
 
Calligraphy
Instructor:Mr. Takeo Ichimura
Time: the last Wednesday 7:00-9:00pm

Please bring your own calligraphy set, and paper. You can buy paper at the class. Only have a limited number of calligraphy kits to lend.    
 
Jikyojutsu
Instructors: Ms. Iwase, Ms. Endo
Assistant: Ms. Keddel
Time: Every Monday 10:30am-12:00pm

The body adjustment exercise, derived from the Kyo  (彊)  technique of ancient China , was transformed to suit the Japanese. It consists of 31 body movements and is a great way to stay strong and young-at-heart!!!  
Please pay $5 at each class.  Please bring a mat (for Yoga/exercise) or a bath towel.
  
Handcraft to be sold at the Care Fund Bazaar (Nov. 22 & 23)
Instructor: Ms. Taeko Kimura, Ms.Noriko Tanabe and Ms. Sachimi Pilkenton
Time: 12:00-3:00pm
 
Oct 1 (Wed)・ Oct 25 (Sat)
 
We will provide the materials. Please bring your scissors. No charge.
